ISPA AWARDS

The School Psychologist of the Year Awards recognize Iowa school psychologists who have made a notable impact on their AEA, district, school, community and/or students.

 

Early Practitioner School Psychologist of the Year (1-3 years) Award

These nominees must be currently working in Iowa and be in the first 3 years of their career. All 3 years worked do not have to have been in Iowa.

School-based School Psychologist of the Year Award

These nominees must be serving day-to-day in the schools: leading evaluations and reevaluations, problem solving for individuals, assisting with MTSS implementation in their building(s), and other responsibilities of the like.

Leadership in School Psychology Award

These nominees should be serving in some leadership capacity. Examples could include, but are not limited to, Special Education Director, Regional Director, Challenging Behavior Lead, School Psychologist Lead, or SEBH Coordinator.
